Jog Alert #3

WE DID IT!

We had a GREAT day last Friday September 15 at the Jog-a-thon! All of the kids showed up dressed crazy, with smiles on their faces and ready to run!

WE HAVE EXCEEDED OUR GOAL OF $60,000– thank you for your generous donations! Students earned an all-school Free Dress Day on Jog-a-thon Celebration Day, October 13th.

And! There are still so many prizes to be won—including the Springfree trampoline! You have until September 29th to get your money in at 99pledges.com.  Remember for every $100 raised per family, an entry goes into the trampoline raffle. Other prizes still up for grabs:

  • $300 per family BY September 29 earns your child entry into the popular Cash Grabbin’ Gecko game.
  • A Silly String Showdown will be awarded to the GRADE that raises the most money. The top classes keep changing spots! It’s a fast and furious competition- keep the donations coming! Right now, the leading 3 classes are:

1st place – Miss Feeney

2nd place – Ms. Kelley

3rd place – Mrs. Ahern

ALMOST EVERY GRADE is STILL in competition for the Silly String Showdown. What fun!

WINNERS ALREADY!

Ms. Kelley’s Fifth Grade Class won the “Theme Song” competition and they picked “Hall of Fame” as our 2017 theme song. We certainly entered the Hall of Fame with the running last week. Our school ran a total of 1,002.9 miles!! A special thanks to the teachers who ran a combined 33.7 miles – which helped us achieve our goal!

Scrip Raffle Winners were Elizabeth Doyle, Clara Cooper and Kate Haid. They each won a $25 scrip gift card –thanks to their families for raising $150 or more towards Jog-a-thon!

The class the ran the Most Miles was Mrs. Mansfield’s. These runners collectively logged 61 miles during their running time! They are being rewarded with a movie and popcorn party on Jog-a-thon Celebration Day. Also winning a movie and popcorn party is Mrs. Oines’ class (53.7 miles) and Mr. Tice’s class (57.3 miles). Great effort!

We will celebrate all of our accomplishments, award prizes, do the Silly String Showdown, have Cash Grabbin’ Gecko and pick the trampoline winner ALL ON OCTOBER 13th! Feel free to join us for this fun day of celebrating the Jog-a-thon.

OUR SPONSORS ARE THE BEST!!
